It has been asked several times if the check means anything, in all honesty I don't know. I do know, however, that it's still early for election night and results are subject to change.
The Maine results are now at 7% reporting. Snowe is still in the lead:

Finally, Georgia is still majorly Republican in the state races. The Attorney General's race is still tight.
